    Equivalent of .gnomerc and startup.sh

    What's the file in Xubuntu that corresponds to ~/.gnomerc in Gnome and ~/.kde/Autostart/startup.sh in KDE? Is it .xsession? I'm looking for the proper file in which to place

    #!/bin/bash
    source ~/.bashrc

    in order to configure the PATH at log-in without necessarily opening a shell.

    Thank you!

    in the menu you'll find startup applications, add it there.
