    How can I install ManiaDrive in tar.gz format

    I have Ubuntu 8.10 and I just downloaded the ManiaDrive file.
    It's called ManiaDrive-1.2-linux-i386.tar.gz
    Can someone show me how to install this file through the terminal?
    Toshiba Satellite Notebook L305D - 3GB DDR2 RAM - 320GB HD - DUAL BOOT: Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10
