Hi,

I wonder if anyone knows if there is a way of improving the "Snap to Guides" feature of Scribus 1.3.3.12. It may be that I just don't understand it, but it seems very difficult to position items (lines in particular) in exactly the right place.

It is important that the lines I want to add to the page are positioned accurately, but the lines always seem to avoid the guides and it gets a little frustrating.

Is this something to do with the baseline grid? I've tried decreasing its spacing and increasing it to more than the page height, but positioning lines accurately is still difficult. I always resort to typing the values in manually, which seems daft after having set up the guides before hand.

This may be a limitation at the moment (or just plain laziness on my part) but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has been able to improve this, or even how programs like Adobe InDesign would cope as a comparison.

Thanks,
