Hi
i have tryed for some time now to get ubutnu installed on my PC (also has xp on it) it will not boot from a live disc (its not the disc i have made many copys) it starts to load but then just drops me to a shell (ash) command line i have tryed typing startx here but it does not recognize it. any solutions?

that didnt work either.

i managed to get into ubutnu through windows xp so i installed it and installed grub i then tryed to get to ubuntu but it still displayed the same results so therefor it is nothing to do witht he disc (i think).
it says something about busybox first
