Re: STALLMAN to No-B Day!
This smells of a political discussion. I will tread lightly. I don't know how much more weight it carries simply because "STALLMAN" supports it, but yeah, no president, dictator, or otherwise should ever be able put themselves above the law. Dubya tried to do this as well, asking for immunity for events following 9/11 so he could not be tried for war crimes and it was resoundingly denied as it should be. I don't really care if you liked him or his politics, nobody is above the law, under anyones perceived view of their circumstances or at any position in our government. There is a real chance one day that Bush could stand trial for things that happened during his presidency. If a man leading a country or an army cannot be held accountable for their actions, we're all in a great deal of trouble.
