System Ubuntu latest kernel.
I have tried all the methods on Ubuntu help and general google help but Ubuntu is not seeing my external hard disk at all, it is an old internal ATA drive, mounted in a hard disk enclosure, connected by usb.
Gparted does not see it. fdisk -l does not list it. Mount does not list it.
Suse 10.2 to 11.0 automounts it after about a minute, PCLINUX did the same.
I have two internal SATA drives sda and sdb.
It would appear to be an Ubuntu problem, any help.
