    external monitor

I just bought myself an external monitor. I have it hooked up to my laptop. So far I've been figured out how to get a dual monitor setup, and it works great. The only problem is I can't close my notebook cover without both my monitors turning off.

I only want my notebook monitor to turn off when I close the lid. It's a little annoying having my laptop screen on when I watch a movie. Anyone have an idea?

Change the close-lid action NOT to the suspend the machine.

    Re: external monitor

I just installed the 9.2 Ati drivers, and I was able to set it up so that only my external monitor will be used.
