    seamlees menu or font in kde

    hello..
    i've problem with my kde in ubuntu.. i install it thrue synaptic..
    maybe this picture may explain..

    That sucks! Looking at your screenshots, it is possible your font is the same color as the surround area.

    Try click the KDE Menu, click the image of the laptop, then click the tools at the top of the menu. The system settings window will appear, click the desktop with the tools on top, it is the first icon on the left in the first row. The resulting window will have a default button, it is the second button on the left at the bottom of the window and has a yellow arrow. Click that and then click apply, with the green check. That will set all colors to default, and hopefully your text will re-appear
