rhythmbox loses files

When I open rhythmbox, some files are missing. These are always files that I have opened from emails. Are they not saved automatically?

Those files are probably stored in the /tmp directory, which, as far as I know, is emptied whenever you reboot/shutdown. You'll want to "Save As..." in a more permanent folder.
