cairo-dock install

Hello, I'm a complete newbie... Can someone pls help me install cairo-docks on my laptop ri=unning ubunto 8.10?

I've downloaded the packages and pluggins from berlios and used this
"sudo apt-get install libcairo2 librsvg2-2 libglitz1 libglitz-glx1" as explained in the ubuntu documentation and followed the instruction
"sudo dpkg -i cairo-dock_v1.6.3.1_i686.deb" but displays
"dpkg: error processing cairo-dock_v1.6.3.1_i686.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
cairo-dock_v1.6.3.1_i686.deb".

I'm only in my first steps with linux and ubuntu, pls help.

Cairo-dock is in the repos unless you don't like that version, 1.6.2.3.
