    Need some quick ATI advice...

    Hi there,

    I want to upgrade my vga-card. Ati at the moment boasts the best frame/$ in my price range. How bad is ati support in Ubuntu now? I used to run a Radeon 9600 during 6.10, and that wasn't fun! Looking at the 4670 now. Is there support for compositing - Compiz?

    Compiz is ok.But for games, nvidia is way better.Also flickering problem is still there at videos.Save a little money and buy nvidia
