Firefox Problems

I'm semi new to linux. I installed Ubuntu about 3 weeks ago and everything has been working fine until today.

I had some power supply issue that resulted in my system abruptly losing power a couple times. That issue is fixed, but now I am having trouble with firefox.

The symptoms:

-"Back" and "Forward" buttons or keyboard shortcuts dont work
- The search bar in the upper right doesn't work anymore
- Youtube videos stop and hang after about 1 second.


Any advice?

Problem resolved.

I was out of free space on my HDD which was causing all sorts of strange behavior.

Just increased my partition size and did a full ubuntu reinstall.
