Intel driver help, <3

Ok I'm on a Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E
And my Graphics Card: Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller
Ubuntu: 9.10 (and a new user)
And I'm trying to update it. Because Something is missing because my UI in WoW is not quite right. This isn't about WoW, its the reason behind it, but I still need the update.
When I do a system info thing, the part that says display 1: Under where it tells what my graphics card is, is red.
I am personally a terrible google searcher. Sometimes I get lucky but Trying to find an already compiled update or something for this driver is just becoming impossible for me personally atm.
So if anyone knows any good links or something.. I felt bad asking because i always end up asking the wrong thing in the wrong section -.-. So please Bear with me.

there seems to be a problem.Why not use Ubuntu 8.10 where Intel will run fine??

I dont know how.. and wouldnt i loose the stuff i already put on 9.10?
Like i said really new to ubuntu.. didnt know i could back track..

Thought you made a fresh install.
Intel became buggy in 9.04 and a little better in 9.10 but
runs smoothly in 8.10.

Well I've had it installed almost a week. So there wouldnt be That much to replace. But everything would work ok if I went back to 8.10?
I really know nothing about this but my laptop on any sort of windows ended up pulling some BS on me, and for everything else I used my computer for Ubuntu is running fine.
So, If you think it would help.. link me or point me some place and i'll go see about downgrading.

You cannot downgrade your 9.10,you have to install 8.10:

You can keep your current 9.10 (maybe there is a bugfix soon) and make a dualboot.

Altight thank you. I'll see what I can do, Wine should work fine with 8.10 for wow right?
cause atm, its either see my UI and no toons, or see my toons an only half my UI. So I really hope 8.10 helps resolve this. thanks again.
