    [SOLVED] Firefox window size

I went to a site which automatically resized my firefox window to three-fourth of its maximum size. Now whenever i open a new window it's just three fourths of the max size.
How do i get firefox to open in its max window size(not fullscreen though) again??
    I'm on Kubuntu Intrepid.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Firefox window size

If you're talking about the actual size of the window (and not the size of the contents of the browser), then you should be able to resize the window then close the browser. When you next open it, it should be the same size it was when you closed it.

If you are using compiz, go to compizconfig settings manager > Workarounds plugin and untick legacy fullscreen support

Luckily 8.10 does not use Compiz. The default Windows manager will do.

Right click on Window panel, then "Advanced", "Special Application Settings".

No problem. KDE 4 rocks, doesn't it?

Rest assured, KDE 4.2 will be even better. I am running the nightly build of 4.2 and I love it. The upgrade to 9.04 will definitely be worth it.

    KDE 4 Rocks!
    I'm still on 4.1.4
How do I get the latest stable release of 4.2 on Intrepid?
I tried 4.2 through a Jaunty live CD and I loved it.

Those instructions are for KDE 4.2 Beta right? I wanted to install the stable 4.2 release. How come Kubuntu has not updated its repositories yet?

BTW, I tried out 4.2 using Chakra Linux( based on Arch) in VirtualBox. I don't understand why people say KDE 4.x is still buggy. I used an alpha 2 version of Chakra and I'm still impressed with the stability.

This should be the final version.
