Good encoder mp3 to m4a

I'm finding a good encoder mp3 to m4a for my V3x.
I've tried Sound Converter and GNAC but often crash without messages...
I need a gui for select many files, and m4a(aac) for high compression (64kbit).

I've tried aacplusenc... but is very slow, make corrupted files (very ugly), and I write any single complete files names and two time *ich!*

It's very annoying: for video we have great programs like Avidemux... but for audio... we have only ugly and bugged programs (to close format)? Please help me, I don't want back to Windows...
