    Utorrent with wine

    everytime i open a .torrent file from the firefox download directory utorrent reveales: unable to load XXX path not found

    is there any reason why you do not run any native torrent clients?

    the problem you've got is that you need to link the .torrent files to "wine /path/to/utorrent.exe"

    Reasons you asked for:

    a) uTorrent is faster than any native client
    b) uTorrent offers more/better features than the majority of native clients
    c) uTorrent is very lightweight
    d) Works perfectly with wine

    For me personally its the only piece of software that I use through wine.

    tried rTorrent? very fast, very feature-rich, much lighter than utorrent

    its a custom of habit for me
    +the rss client is very easy and comfortable
    but can anyone help?
