Just installed winavi with wine. Whenever i start the program,, the splash screen flashes for about half a second and then disappears and the program shuts down. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Just installed winavi with wine. Whenever i start the program,, the splash screen flashes for about half a second and then disappears and the program shuts down. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Wine will not work with all programs, and may need tweaking to work with some applications.
(you can watch .flv in vlc and totem just fine, and all videos you watch on youtube are stored in /tmp while you have the video opened, and then get deleted when you close it)

oops I wrote /temp xD man that was a fail.
but yes, it is under /tmp in your filesystem.
