Ubuntu crashes with Sansa e250

Hi, as the post says every time I try to use the player in any form (read as: coping manually the files in MSC or using Rhythmbox or Banshee in MTP), everything crashes...
I'm the kind of people that prefers MTP but in MSC didn't work either.
Just for the side note, the MSC mode didn't worked until recently (the player connected and disconnected for a while to finally stay disconnected), but then magically started to work.

What Sansa firmware are you on?

In the "Information" section of the player the version says: 1.02.18A
