Looking for an easy to use database application

Hello, I am trying to create a searchable database of all 40+ books of the D&D 3.5 rule books. I have a little experience in MySQL and Microsoft Access. Does anyone know of a easy to use application that can be figured out quickly and easily.

I've not used it, but you should have OpenOffice.org Database installed by default, which more or less corresponds to the functionality of MS Access, and should suit your needs for a simple task.

You can install MySQL in Ubuntu pretty easily as well (I believe it's in Synaptic). I only mention that because you say you've used it before, though. If you're looking for something easy, I'd try the OpenOffice Database program first.

Has anyone tried the Club Management Database add-on for OO Base?

I see it's only been tested in XO SP2 and Mac/OS, so feedback would be good.
