Triple Head on Kubuntu with Nvidia.

    Hi All,

Ive just bought a 3rd monitor and Im hoping to set it up with my other 2 in a triple head configuration. The setup looks like this:

    22" (1680x1050) + 26" (1920x1200) + 22" (1680x1050)

Now my graphics card is an nvidia 9500 GT with 3 outputs, a DVI, a VGA and a HDMI. the real issue here is the HDMI does not give any output at all - and its not detected in nvidia-settings. the other 2 are working fine in a dual head configuration.

SO how do I get the HDMI out put to work?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Jussi.

Ok, answer to getting it detected is easy, make sure cord is plugged all the way in

But now I cant seem to get the nvidia settings to setup triple head - it gives me:

    • MetaMode 1 of Screen 0 has more than two active display devices.
can someone point me to how to do triple head with nvidia? can it be done?

    Jussi
