Cannot 'control-select' multiple items

I cannot seem to control select multiple items in Nautilus file browser or on my desktop.

I am running Intrepid Ibex.

Oh, as it turns out that I actually had a setting to move windows with Ctrl+Mouse-Right activated.

I changed this setting by going into System->Preferences->Windows

Thanks for posting that, I had the same problem... changed it to the super key and so far no problems.
