    Lightbulb Startup hangs on AMD at progress bar

    CPU: AMD Phenom 2.5 GHz Quad
    MB: ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe
    BIOS: ASUS ACPI BIOS Revision 1901
    RAM: 2 - 2GB G.Skill DDR2 PC2-1066
    Kernel: Linux-x86_64 2.6.27.11-generic (Ubuntu 8.10)

    GLX: nForce 780a SLI/PCI/SSE2
    NVIDIA Driver Version: 177.82

    I got rid of the hanging progress bar by enabling OS2 in BIOS
    Code:
    OS Select For DRAM > 64MB [OS2]


    This problem only seems to affect AMDs with more than 1 core. Correct?

    Please post your specs and how you fixed or did not fix this problem.
