Rythmbox & Gstreamer equalizer...how to use?

    Hi all.

I've been doing some searching and I'm confident that there is currently no equalizer for Rhythmbox (huh? you mean really? but anyway...)

Then i read that I can use an equalizer at the gstreamer level which sounds like a peachy idea in general and i have the packages installed....

Question: How do i interface with this mysterious equalizer? I know of no gui frontend and can't find any information on even manipulating it via the command line. Is the gstreamer equalizer something the individual app has to provide access to? I don't know how that stuff works.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I've read that it does, but I'd rather continue with what i'm using... Not super attached to rhythmbox so if it comes to it I may.

But I also like the idea of a top level gstreamer equalizer so that other apps are funneled through it as well. It's also just frustrating because there's all of these plugins for gstreamer and I don't know how to access them. or if its even that type of thing......

I prefer rythmbox over amarok and exaile.

Here is the equalizer plug-in I use:

    Hope this helps!
