All,
I am sure this probably quite easy, but I cannot figure it out, I mean I think there is some editing in /etc/fstab, or something but anyway, here is my dilemma,
I have a FreeNAS server which I can see and access my shares on with my desktop machine which is Ubuntu 8.10x64. I want to know how to mount my shares so that every time I restart, or log off, they are mounted and showing on the desktop. As of now when I go to save something to a "documents" share, I have to save it to the desktop first, browse the network, find my server and cut and paste it there, which of course is too many steps. I could search the web for the answer but I started here, because I have always had great help here in the Ubuntu community.
Many thanks in advance,
AceMan
