The real costs of a basic Death Star

    I just discovered this:

Basic Death Star Costs $15.6 Septillion, 1.4 Trillion Times the US Debt

If you had $15.6 septillion and 94 cents in your account, would you save the world from the economic crisis or build a Death Star, destroy the world, and move on to invade the galaxy?
    ....
    Read it all at: http://i.gizmodo.com/5146010/basic-d...es-the-us-debt

Now, anyone can lend me some money?

Obvious answer is Death Star, mainly because you'd get an Imperial Gunner helmet:

IBM used to make Deathstars that were really cheap, couple hundred US$

Just google IBM Deathstar if you are confused.

When I read this, I kept thinking of the two characters in Clerks discussing Star Wars and the contractors who would have built the Death Star..

Yeah and they where about as reliable as the Starwars Death Star as well.

Anyway, 15.6 septillion and you don't even get a planet destroying mega laser either? What the point in a death star without the ability to blow up a planet?

The Chinese could build it cheaper.

and how much is a squadron of X-wing fighters to take down said Death Star?
On strike during the Oneiric cycle due to ungratefulness of Ubuntu.

It would be about half that without Windows Vista DSE (Death Star Edition).
