Hi,

I have just moved from a Debian server over to Ubuntu and I have a problem with Samba. I have two windows machines on my network that I have tested with, one is an XP Home machine, the other running Vista Pro. Neither of them report the disk size or free space correctly. I can read files via samba as well as write them.

I haven't set up any quotas, in fact the disk space used is larger than the size of the disk that the Windows machines are reporting.

I am using Ubuntu Server 8.10 with all the updates.

Any ideas? I have seen the problem mentioned on a few email threads but I have not seen a solution.
