    I agree. Needs a poll.
Is 10 the highest level of experience or lowest?

Id say since Feisty -- a 5/10. Ok, I admit it. I have a group of computers that I run a mixture of Ubuntu, WinXP and even Vista. Ubuntu is on those with the older hardware. However something happened somewhere in the Feisty to Gutsy transition with the kernel. Graphics and Sound were working great, now -- very spotty. I like the improvements in other areas Ive seen with Intrepid, however the dropping of older hardware support (which I guess every OS has) really stinks. Wireless drivers are getting better, however I'm not exactly sure if this has anything to do with the newer versions of ubuntu. Something tells me the ath5k and newer broadcom solutions would work just as well with older kernels.

    Over 9000! Or maybe not...

Hmm, my Ubuntu experience has been about the best of all the OSs I've used, but then again that's not really a high praise. I can't really blame Ubuntu for not having drivers to my wireless, because I bought this laptop knowing that the wireless might not work (I have no use for it, and I've also found out that it does work with ndiswrapper). On the other hand Ubuntu has never been the stablest OS around (at least for me -- Gentoo was much better even with all the bleeding edge stuff )...

    I think I'd give it an 8.

I would have to say 8.5.
Just needs some work on the graphics drivers, and needs more computer games. Besides those two points everything else works perfectly. Maybe it will rise to 9 as I get internet in my apartment.
