Create boot disk from current installation

    Hello all.

I've been asked to install Ubuntu on my parents' laptop and I'm very excited to do so. The problem is, their connection to the internet is quite slow, and I have no real way of downloading the ISO faster.

I do have my laptop with Intrepid already installed. Is there a way for me to create an install disk from the version of Ubuntu I already have? That would save me days of waiting for the ISO to download.

    Thanks.

You can do it, but it takes a bit of work. See this HowTo.
