    customize the ubuntu iso

first of all i posted this here because i didnt know where it should be.

what i was thinking of is can i play with ubuntu iso?
like replace one of the themes in the iso and make it the default theme to
appear when booting into live session and also when installing.also icons
and the wallpaper for example, adding/removing program (adding awn and
maybe removing evolution), i know that a limit of 699MBs must be respected
thats why i used replace not add, and add/remove instead of just add.

am not an expert , so rebuilding the iso from scratch would not be easy for me.

You should take a look at this thread.

I personally use Remastersys (see the previous link) for any Ubuntu LiveCD customizations, and have never had issues.
