    Vob to Iso

Hi i found this command elsewhere on the forum for compiling an iso from vob files.....

    sudo mkisofs -dvd-video -udf -o dvd.iso

and it works but my problem is that it by default creates the dvd.iso in the home dir but as its a dvd9 i don't have space and can't make space easily because of a small partition.

Is there any way i can direct this command at another place?

    Re: Vob to Iso

Presumably you could include the path before dvd.iso eg.
    sudo mkisofs -dvd-video -udf -o /var/tmp/dvd.iso

Alternatively cd to the directory prior to running the mkisofs command eg.
    cd /var/tmp
    sudo mkisofs -dvd-video -udf -o dvd.iso
