How do I load KNetworkmanager in KDE 4.2?

I've been a Gnome guy for as long as I've been a Linux guy at all, and managed to get what seems to be a fairly solid KDE build going via the ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental repo in Intrepid-32.

    I did "sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop".

Problem is, it's loading without knetworkmanager, and I'm on a lappy. The KDE package manager (and Synaptic in Gnome) both agree that knetworkmanager is present, but danged if I can figure out how to load it in KDE. I had to come back to Gnome to post this.

    Anybody?

start typing knetworkmanager and hit return when the options narrow down to the one you want. Should start automatically after that as long as it is still running when you log out.
