    Question updates disconnected my soundcard

and if i haven't gotten enough things to remember... i installed the updates that came up for me and now it says (after rebooting) that my soundcard is not connected. it seem to mean that i can connect it up again without having to go thru all the hassles i went thru to get the drivers. if this is true then where do i plug it back in? x-fi xtreme music soundcard
Oh life SUX when you actually "need" windows ... WoW works great on ubuntu 9.10 with the newest beta wine 1.1.40

Well, these sort of things do sometimes happen with Kernel updates. Install "startupmanager".

You'll be able to choose booting to the older kernel until you find a true solution.

IMHO this should be reported as a bug:
