    Closest thing imo is xubuntu.

    Ubuntu off the minimal CD is about as small and lightweight as it gets.
    NetBSD 64-bit + Xfce

    I think what he means is he wants a minimalistic ubuntu with a DM and programs inclusive. Minimal only installs console and console based programs!
