    Portable music players

Can anyone suggest a portable music player which fits the following requirements:
    • Works perfectly with Linux (ie: support for Linux, no messing around with things)
    • Comes in sizes of 64GB and up (I have a lot of music)
    • Has support for OGG files.

I've been looking at the Cowon website, but they all seem to be up to 16GB...

do the mp3 players you're looking at have a micro-sd card slot? if so, you could just buy a 64gb card.

I second that. Just be sure to get a model that supports Rockbox

Look at the Archos 5, comes in a few sizes from 60GB upto 250GB, pretty sure it supports OGG out the box (if not theres definatley a plugin you can buy for it) and all Archos devices work on linux

    Sandisk Sansa Fuze:
Supports ogg and flac(and other formats)
16gig + can use memory card up to 16gig(if I remember correct they will soon come as 32gig).
No problem to transfer music on it from Ubuntu.

Sound is good, the radio on it is good, battery is ok, can show coverart, the price is nice - all in all happy with it.

The Archos 5 fits all of those requirements.
