I am using Intrepid currently and was wondering is anyone using Mumble or Teamspeak? If so, what are the pros/cons of each? One easier to set up than the other?
Thanks!

Teamspeak has horrid Pulseaudio Support. Mumble worked outta the box for me. Perhaps it's just my bad luck but I'd rather use Mumble any day.

teamspeak has a terrible linux port, it looks ugly and i could never get it to work with my microphone. They are supposedly improving it with the next version but for now, mumble is better.

Teamspeak is crap, especially on linux.
Many people praise Mumble, but for me, it has much worse sound quality than TS. On both ubuntu and windows, independent from hardware (PC as well as headset), it seems to be missing major parts of the voice frequency spectrum. Everything sounds nasal.
Mumble works fine for me on Windows (haven't tried it on Linux yet). PLUS, it has a server browser.
Today i tried mumble and it is way better then TS under linux
Tested voicechatter? Best voice communication application I have ever used. OpenSource and for Mac/Linux/Windows. Great voice quality!
