On Windows about 2-3 years ago when i played GW, Mumble beat Teamspeak on every level. Though that was a long time ago and on Windows not Linux ^^

Mumble is marketed for its low latency, thus the reason many people think its voice quality is much less than that of Teamspeak. That be said, if you crank Teamspeak down , like way way down to keep your own latency and usage low, it sounds even more garbagy than Mumble does. Each has his own opinion on this Im sure, but I would take Mumble over Teamspeak in a shot.
That could be why Mumble worked for us best. We had 30+ people in a room at once. Im guessing the latency thing is why Mumble won us over so much instead of Teamspeak.
Mumble, teamspeak is out of date (teamspeak 3 at work).
