[ubuntu] edimax usb wireless ew-7711 problem

Hi,

I just bought a wireless nlite usb adapter from edimax and obviously running the latest ubuntu 8.10.

Fortunatly Edimax supply linux source code drivers :

It seems the device uses rt2870 drivers and can get an update driver from ralink website supplying you with the newer version of the drivers, a webui and a wpa_suplicant, well everything:

I tried every forum tutorial to install the drivers. Nothing works.

Can someone please guide me through the installation or the procedures?
