    Publisher files *.pub

I know it's been done a thousand times and there it appears it would be to much work to try and "clone" Microsoft Publisher which is fair enough for a pretty rubbish product.

Anyway here's my problem. Currently at work I love after 100 odd school websites. All very basic with very basic templates. The problem is the majority of schools send out newsletters to parents. These parents are created in Publisher the tool which all schools love.

What I do when I receive this document to put on their website is convert this into a PDF. At the minute I have to do this in Widows (urgh) what i would like is to be able to do this job in Ubuntu. Is there any easy to way to do this?

Scribus is great for creating multi-page documents, while Inkscape is great for single page creations. As for a direct replacement, I don't think there is anything that bad in the Linux world ...
There are a couple of online services that will convert .pub files to .pdf.
    such as http://convert.neevia.com/

Indeed this is an old thread. If a thread hasn't seen any signs of life for over a year, it's usually best to start a new thread if you have a question.
