    Hibernate problems

I'm running intrepid and my Acer Aspire One won't hibernate. When i tell it to hibernate it gives me a message "not enough swap".
I am then brought back to the lock screen password screen.

Have you tried increasing the size of your swap partition? Do you have a swap partition.

the acer has 1gb of ram, I typicaly have under 50% ram usage. Would it be wise to increase my swap to 500mb?

If you have 1Gb of ram you want at least 1Gb of swap.
