    Thumbs up Kde 4

How long does it takes, before you can download KDE 4.2 via the repositories or apt-get?(since it will be released on the 27th of this month).

Cause on 3 February ,I hope to install Kubuntu IntreBex(with KDE 4.1.2) and upgrade KDE to version 4.1.4/5 .

    Wait and see...

But do you have pre-released updates and unsupported updates checked in Adept's software sources? That'll speed it up I guess, but it's still just waiting.

http://www.kubuntu.org/ has announced that KDE4.14 is compiling in the proposed updates section. To install it enable Pre-released Updates in Adept, then under Changes click on Upgrade and Apply.

    You can also add
    Code:
    deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu intrepid main
to your repositories list and use KDE4.2 RC1 right now. I did last week and I am enjoying the updated version. Be aware that it is still classed as beta software though.
