F-Spot Won't Allow Import from HDD

All,

I copied three .jpg pictures from my email onto my hard drive. I opened F-Spot manager and tried to import the pictures into the collection. I found though that all the .jpgs EVERYWHERE are greyed out to F-Spot, and not accessible. Anyone have similar problems, or any solutions? Thanks.

I should clarify this:

Importing .jpgs from a camera works fine, I just can't import a new .jpg from the hard drive.
