Lock screen does nothing when in live-usb even on another user
I was trying ubuntu on live-usb and created a user for myself but then even if I ask it to lock screen it just becomes dark until I move the mouse of press a key. It never asks for a password.
Is this expected for the live-usb version? |

Re: Lock screen does nothing when in live-usb even on another user
Hi
My solution to this problem is discussed on another Ubuntu Forums thread and my bLog. In short, yes it's expected behaviour, but it really shouldn't have turned out that way. The removal of screen-locking was a response to a more serious issue with Live sessions (read my posts). Hope it helps. Cheers, Kris |
