    The cryptography thread

Okay, so I just read The Da Vinci Code and it kind of got me interested in cryptography. Soooo... each time someone solves a random cryptographic puzzle, I'll post a new one.

Some of the keys will be made up myself, some will be common knowledge, and some will be uncommon knowledge. Some will be computer-based, and some will be hand-written. You have no way of knowing. Each puzzle will also come with a clue to help you figure out. Get cracking!

    Code:
ḳnbzmnẖkhprmnkhnbt shȝkhpr ḥts thmrḫ s tkhpr shȝkhpr ḳnb sws shȝkhprhtmnmr khprnb ḫshȝ bȝtḳ

    Clue:

    Re: The cryptography thread

Okay, I guess it was a dumb idea to just make it up like that. What I did was I transliterated it into Egyptian, then applied an Atbash cipher.

    Next one:
Oys ufybj git yot mzj vimj m lyyc yzki ez m qfebi!

    Clue:
This one's just a simple substitution cipher.

    Next clue:
Look at the lone 'm's and the double 'y'.

I fail at cryptology, aparantly. I can't get this phrase to work no matter which letter I use for a! Only thing I can think of is if it is in another language other than English, in which case it makes sense why it doesn't work for me, since I only know English and a bit of Latin.
