    Please please help.. I am on lenovo z560 and when I plug in my headphones, my speaker dont switch off...

    Desperately want the solution to the same problem, model lenovo z560 ubuntu 10.04. Were you able to solve this problem?

    Hi guys i have this problem i have a notebook Toshiba satellite A300-1RI whit Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit,
    the my Ubuntu don't record audio,

    when i write this command

    I have an HP dv6tqe. I cannot get all four speakers to work at the same time. I either use :

    for the front two speakers or these get the rear:

    Advent 4211 (MSI Wind Clone Ubuntu 11.10

    Realtek ALC1200

    options snd-hda-intel model=targa-dig

    With this everything works, no sound hiss, speakers work and headphones and switches the speaker off when headphone connected. I will like everyone else file a bug. What a terrible regression in the Kernel.

    Thank you so much for this page. This was nearly a deal breaker for me. I listen to a lot of music!
