Lost Shutdown, Restart, Log Off etc menu on top Panel

    8.10

Was having some hanging problems and decided to kill gdm in CLI. Was a nightmare, couldnt kill it properly, couldnt start it, so just rebooted.

Now I have lost the menu which diplays your name and gives you the option to shutdown and restart and stuff.

How do I get it back?

And why does the panel have the habit of rearranging stuff at times?

Right Click on the panel and click on "Add to Panel" and you should find a lot of stuff.

I know I can add individual Shutdown and Restart icons, but I want what I had originally. I cannot see that in the options though

Found it. It was the User Switcher. Not very clear
