hi, i installed ubuntu 1 month earlier, due to some reason it got crashed(screen continously geting blurred as ubuntu start up) ... So decided to installed 2nd time on other hard drive...
i have 4 drive partition with C and D: reserved for Windows XP...E:Earlier non working Ubuntu and F:new working ubuntu
now my computer detects 2 u buntu on startup.... how to get rid out non functioning ubuntu and get my free disk space back???
any1 one please help!
I would try booting up the CD, then choose "try Ubuntu w/o any changes affecting your computer". From the desktop open up "partition editor" (i think its found under system>>admin>>partition editor) Then just free up the space you don't want, which should erase the unwanted ubuntu partition and just replace it with unused allocated space.
sudo apt-get me better grades
