monitor "out of range" on boot
Hello,
Running 8.10 on a 22" viewsonic widescreen monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. This resolution works fine when ubuntu has booted.
On boot, instead of seeing the ubuntu bar loading screen, my monitor says "out of range". This isn't normally a problem as it doesn't take that long to boot. However, every 30 boots or so ubuntu runs an fsck check and I don't have a clue how far along it's got and therefore how long I have to wait.
Can anybody suggest a way to see the boot screen?
