CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE should be left enabled since it is a very good shorctut. I can not see any reason to disable it.
think this would be the best solution for both points of view.
I also need this combo since it is the easiest way to kill a hanging X
but i understand that some people tend to press that occasionally.
I think the first time I used this shortcut it was not on purpos lol
I just discovered it yesterday and its totally useful! :O I don't want it gone now!
Current System: Acer Aspire One D255E Netbook.
I use it every day. Make an option for disabling - leave it on by default.
Desktop: Windows 7 / Ubuntu 10.04
Netbook: Ubuntu 10.04
Why disable it? It would be a dumb idea.
This is Linux, not Mac or Windows. People need to understand that.
Personally, after a year using Linux, I never even knew about ctrl-alt-backspace... now it's a lifesaver to me.
Make it so you can disable it in the preferences menu somewhere. Do not disable it by default.
