The UI for Kubuntu is ready but won't be available until my "dontzap" package is uploaded. The UI for Ubuntu will be finished soon and you will also be able to enable or disable the option from the command line

Will this be included in the default installation, or does this pkg have to be installed afterwards via pkg-managers?

to disable

sudo dontzap -d

I wish they (Xorg-devs) hadn't used inverted logic for the DontZap option. They could have just as easily named it AllowZap like all the other Allow* options. Always makes me think twice to get what I want.

Yes, I know what you mean. In the Kubuntu GUI you won't see the name of the option at all but only something like "Ctrl+Alt+Backspace restarts the xserver"

i quite often use ctrl+alt+backspace if something happens with 3d game or something eats memory out like faulty screensaver etc...

I jsut just installed dontzap, and it works as it should.

Nothing to do with ubuntu-devs.

As for the dontzap, ubuntu-desktop doesn't include it (yet)?

I know, stupid question, but what is the code for me to get in the 'x' file to add that 'Dontzap' option?
