    Talking apt-get un-authenticated packages

    What exactly does this message mean? It seems something so basic should be authenticated.

    >apt-get install gparted

    WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!

    You did have a problem with catching the files from the server. Please do a "apt-get update".
